With LeWing, we saw an opportunity to develop the most versatile and “invisible” home cinema system we could, in order to give everyone what they want!
- LeWing pairs a fully-retractable, AT screen with a control-independent, high-performance speaker system.
- Our flagship ClearPix2 fabric combined with high-performance JBL speakers now delivers the ultimate in audio and video integrity.
- The screen and speakers are positioned in-ceiling or within a discrete on-ceiling enclosure. At the touch of a button, they can be dropped or hidden.
Application-Specific Solution
LeWing with integrated JBL sound system is designed for very high-end clients who want the best, and have the means to acquire the best.
This system is an application-specific product that solves the problem of combining front-stage audio, a high-quality screen and a masking system in one uniquely-housed, retractable display.
LeWing is the perfect solution for spaces/venues that have unique challenges with where to put the screen - like in front of a glass or mirrored wall, in front of a fireplace, or in the middle of a room. And not just for high-end homes, LeWing is the perfect solution for large commercial venues where a traditional screen might not work - like museums, business or entertainment complexes, mega-churches, multi-purpose or performance auditoria.
Range of Audio Options
LeWing offers four different audio configurations:
- LeWing with JBL1 option is an entry-level solution
- LeWing with JBL2 option is a step-up with THX® Select certification
- LeWing with JBL3 option features THX® Ultra certification
- LeWing with JBL4 is a THX® Ultra II-certified option that integrates the JBL® Project Array
JBL Array is a professional-venue-style speaker optimized for smaller venues to deliver a new level of dimensional accuracy, tonal and dynamic realism. It’s designed to produce the same timbre and phase behavior as reference tower audio systems, delivering the power and accuracy essential in a multi-channel home cinema setup.
So for audio, you’ve got “really good,” “great,” “superior” and “mind-blowing.” You also have four different screen widths and two variants based on installation—on-ceiling or in-ceiling.

LeWing is available in both 16:9 and 2.35:1 formats. Masking systems and trap door functionality are included in all In-Ceiling models.
As with most Screen Research solutions, we will custom-build any size within reason and will support any different parameters within reason. JBL speaker options are now available on all LeWing models.
