Projector Side Mirror Systems

Optical Flexibility for Complex Architectural Installations

Not every environment allows for traditional ceiling or front projector placement. Architectural constraints, interior design choices, or the need for discreet installations often require alternative projection paths.

Screen Research Side Mirror Systems were developed precisely for these situations. By redirecting the projection beam through a precision optical mirror, they allow the projector to be positioned laterally while maintaining perfect image geometry and optical integrity.

First Surface Mirror Optical Precision

At the heart of the system is a First-Surface mirror with 96% reflectance, designed to eliminate ghosting and double reflections while preserving brightness, contrast, and image sharpness.

Unlike conventional mirrors, the reflective layer sits directly on the surface of the glass, ensuring the projection beam is reflected without optical distortion.

The mirror and projector support structure allow multiple adjustment points, including tilt, height, and depth positioning. This enables AV integrators to achieve extremely precise optical alignment even in technically challenging environments.

The system is particularly suited to dedicated home cinemas, architectural installations, and custom AV projects where projector placement must adapt to the design of the room rather than the opposite.

Available Configurations

Screen Research Side Mirror Systems are available in two configurations, designed to adapt to different installation requirements and available technical space.

Projector Side Mirror System – Large

Optical flexibility for complex architectural environments

Not every room allows for ceiling or frontal projector installation. In some cases, architectural constraints define the installation approach; in others, the design vision itself requires discreet or unconventional solutions. We designed our Side Mirror large System to address these scenarios, offering a lateral mirror system conceived specifically for high-end installations.

The projector remains positioned laterally on a solid and stable base, while the image is redirected through a First-Surface mirror with 96% reflectance. This technology eliminates ghosting and double images, preserving the integrity and sharpness of the optical signal even in complex projection paths.

The entire system allows adjustments along multiple axes. The mirror angle can be modified, as well as its height and depth positioning, enabling the integrator to work with millimetric precision and adapt the installation to non-standard room geometries, technical niches, or unique layouts.

The base is equipped with adjustable feet to compensate for uneven surfaces, an apparently minor detail that becomes crucial during installation, significantly improving both stability and setup efficiency.

This solution is ideal for custom installations, reference home cinema rooms, and professional environments where seamless integration and technical precision are essential.

Projector Side Mirror System – Compact

Optical Flexibility for Compact Installation Environments

When technical space is limited but expectations remain uncompromising, the installation must be engineered to avoid compromise. This compact lateral mirror configuration is developed for environments where every centimeter matters, while maintaining the same level of alignment precision and image fidelity.

The system incorporates a First-Surface mirror with 96% reflectance, ensuring optical stability and eliminating the risk of double images. The projected image remains consistent and precise, regardless of the complexity of the optical path.

Adjustments in both tilt and positioning allow precise alignment and provide the flexibility required in high-end residential environments or technical spaces where installation room is limited.

The objective is not simply to make the system function, but to ensure it performs with the level of precision expected in a true reference cinema installation.

Our compact Side Mirror System integrates naturally into premium home cinema projects, custom environments, and installations where aesthetic cleanliness and technical accuracy are equally important.
